I give thanks to God through Jesus Christ our
Savior, that the Holy Spirit has led me to live out my faith as
a member of Gift of Grace congregation. Out of gratitude for what
our Lord has done for us, we at Gift of Grace are committed to providing
a place for dynamic Christian worship, witness, and teaching. We
welcome each person regardless of race, age, sexual orientation,
religion or lack of religion; we help people celebrate life; and
we provide leadership for the greater community.
In addition to the normal commitments of any Christian,
in this congregation we must match the size of our commitment to
the size of our mission. Therefore I personally commit to:
- Participate in weekly worship
- Share my faith with others
- Grow in faith through daily prayer
and scripture reading
- Discover, develop, and use my spiritual
gifts to build up Christ’s Body
- Contribute to the creative process
of this congregation by voicing my viewpoint
- Contribute a regular financial offering,
growing toward a tithe (= 10% of my income) to be used in this
congregation
or in other charities
- Continue in Christian Education
This is my offering to God and to my neighbors. I
thank God I am able to make it and I ask God to help me fulfill
it.
